It really only gets expensive on black shirts, when you have to print white under it no matter what. On a white shirt, you could do black and red, or black, red and blue. That'd still be cheap. $4 or so a shirt, and I think that'd be with the black on the back too.

Do you have to do any prep work (a la black shirts) on the ash grey shirts?

You do NOT need a layer of white under the image on an ash gray shirt. Unless you really really really cannot live without the white strip on the dive flag :) You need the white underlay on really dark or really rich colours, which, incidentally, also cost more by themselves. Ash is still a pretty cheap shirt, and it's a very durable shirt, which doesn't show dirt nearly as fast as a white shirt, and you can print it just like you would white--single hit of most colours, no white underlay needed to make the image show up.

i used to do all that screenprinting a long time ago, remember ted neguent shirts or ac/dc shirts used to do them.

Sweet, those are my favorite color of shirts.

...I have an AC/DC shirt!

Well, it was the replacement for mysummer job, when I decided I hated my manager, and a guy I know offered a job, I took it. Now I'm full of useless facts about squeegee pressure and ink thicknesses, rather than on hamburger assembly. But, I get paid more and I can make money on commissions, along with being able to print up my own shirts :)

Dude, knowledge of proper squeegee pressure is CRITICAL if you want to be anything more than a urban outdoorsman.

Oh great , what now?
Are you all gonna start bungie'ing a squeegee to your backplates/BC's now?

I'm in. It might not be completely diving related, but how about for the image on the back, we put the picture of the Chimp driving the car, sort of an homage to Matt? We could put the Scubaboard logo on the front with Megadive and the year above and below.

What an awesome idea. Even if it doesn't work out in the final design, it makes me smile just to know that you thought of him. I am planning on making the trip. Looking forward to seeing and diving with you all again. From there I am going on to NC into the mountains for my sister Cyn's wedding. Anyone want an excuse to go to the mountains with me?
