Let me correct that, my wife called to make the reservations and it would have been that price per night -

Jenny or any of you other Ft Lauderdale group - any suggestions?

I've began calling around to some of the smaller hotels and am finding that they DO have availability, unlike what the web is saying of them. For instance: Villamar Inn has rooms 3 rooms @ $48 right up to 2 br rooms on the beach facing the ocean for $94.

Anyone interested in me continuing my quest? I dont mind finding out this information and posting it here for you to make reservations. It would be really fun to have all of us in one spot for something like.. oh.. a surf side BBQ and maybe sunset dive or sunrise dive :)

Course, I just found this to:

I went on orbitz.com and founf a bunch of different hotel around the $45 per night rate, I just don't know which one to go with..... We'd really like to stay as a group with ya'll if possible.

Maybe someone more familar with the area could check out that web page and let us know if its decent.....when it asked for the location I just entered Pompano Beach , Fl..

Wish I could help ya'll out, but I don't stay in hotels in this neck of the woods...

Can't wait to cut some pennies in half. :D

I vote for Pompano too. Call me crazy, but I just don't trust diving on half a shut down pier.

FLL you're crazy!

The more I think about it, the more I keep looking at Villamar Inn. Anyone interested in splitting a 2 br on the ocean? They are $94 with a little kitchenette. It would make a good setting for a gathering. If not, they have 3 little rooms with beds for 48, and I don't know about ya'll, but I plan on relaxing ocean side more than in the room :D

CBulla:
I'm goin to book at Villamar Inn - It looks like the best place to enjoy a sunrise and sunset BBQ's! :D

Thanks for the info. I just sent in a request to them via email, it said someone will call me with the details.. We're going to stay Friday and Saturday night and just hang out with everyone on Sunday....

See ya there,

Vickie
