Depends on your 1st. In my world, 2nd stage freeflows are par for the course when winter diving, particularly after surfacing. A little annoying, but not much more. That's what I was going to bring to light also. It is not the second stage that "freezes" up and causes the free flow, it is the first stage and therefore both second stage regs are affected..
