nope not guage mode - that's a totally different setting

my mosquito had it... D4 has as well...

for a fact I know that w/ the dive mode in "off" the water activation did NOT activate on a mosquito when it got wet (the AC indicator on the screen)

have not seen this happen with the D4 either... so "off" it is i guess :eyebrow: cool huh

my mosquito bats lasted about 2 years before needing replacement

Jag

yeah, for bat replacement it's the same for my stinger, just sent it out for replacement, hopefully will get it on Wed :)
can you elaborate on how to "turn off"? how do you do it?

it's an option...

mode>dive>set> (my options are AIR, NITROX, FREE and OFF)

comp's tucked away right now... but it should be in the manual online for the specifics

Ahh, that's nice to know.
on the stinger: mode>dive>set> (my options are AIR, NITROX, FREE) are the only options.

On my D4 as well... Only Air, Nitrox, and Free....

 that only leaves the mosquito with the "OFF" option? can other D4 users chime in?

i'd turn the dive mode to "off" though after your dive day/s to stretch your battery life a bit longer...

Jag
question .. why would changing water activation on/off after the computer is on, have anything to do with battery life?

None of the computers that I've seen have an on/off switch for the computer itself
