UPDATE

Pulled the trigger on the Peregrine TX. Should be here early this week!
Nice. Good choice. You really couldn’t have gone wrong with either.

My daughters got Peregrine TXs for Christmas. They were previously diving with Oceanics and Oceanic Transmitters. These are a huge upgrade. I also got them silicone covers mainly so I can easily tell them apart if only one is going diving. Overall, I like the computers, I easily set up their displays to match what I’ve been using.

Now, just can’t wait to get them in the water.

I don’t know if all silicone covers are the same but the one I tried really limited the button access, tossed it for one of the aluminum ones.

Good thing to look out for. I’ll keep an eye on it. Buttons seem to work fine. The mold included a recess and pattern over the buttons. Seems easy enough to press. At least with no, or light gloves. Looks like yours is around a dry suit. I’m assuming that means thicker gloves than we normally use. Thicker gloves could make it harder.

Indeed, with dry gloves it was not easy to push .
