I use the Mares Orbiter. I am going to give the Proton Ice a shot when it comes out and then if I don't like that one I will go back to the Orbiter and will use it for life. Or at least until something new comes out!

Use my Mares forever? I suppose I might. It seems like as soon as I buy something, a newer better one comes along. I have about 20 dives on it, and so far it seems to let me breathe under water. (That had been my main criteria in regulator selection in the first place.) :D

When I mean servicable without tools, I mean are you able to remove the cover on the second stage while underwater. Maybe I used the wrong terminology....

Any thoughts, from anyone on Apollo regs? Although I own Mares, I've used a new Apollo on my last 20 or so dives (had a problem with very dry mouth) And it seems to work fine, with some adjusting. Was hoping some divers out there may have more experience with them???

I just bought an Aqualung Titan LX because a friend (and LDS) recommended it. Someone tell me, please and honestly, is there anything wrong with buying this reg?

Paco - you just bought a fantastic Reg. don't worry. The Titan is just an updated Conshelf. great peice of hardware.

Gotta love the Poseidons... I have four of em, and i plan on keeping them. I like to use my APeks sometimes too. I have two of the ATX-200's and i think they are great too. For some reason, i just like to be able to get GAS out of my regs at 180 feet... :bonk:
