I have been diving dual "Scubapro" MK25's with G260's for years with very favorable results. In early June, I dove the wreck of "Stolt Degali" (off the NJ coast) to 120' at 47 F and my only regret was that I had to eventually surface. Although I have put some thought into MK19's, I am completely satisfied!
MK19s are an awesome first stage design. The a700 is an even better performing regulator than the g250 imo. I have both on my doubles setup

I used to work in a shop with someone whose entire sales pitch was: "This one is my favorite."

She was surprisingly effective.

Scubapro has top shelf equipment. There are others just as good. Scubapro will NOT be selling you service parts for your equipment. You will be married to a Scubapro dealer for your Scubapro equipment servicing. Some of these LDS have excellent techs with decades of knowledge and experience working there. Others may have a kid there working for the summer with little understanding. So be careful. You may wish to plan out how you intend to get your equipment serviced down the road. This is rarely a problem the first few years you own you shiny new regulator. If however you fall in love with it and want it serviced years later you may run into a brick wall on service kits as many Mfg's make obsolete kits after a few years. There are manufacturers that sell regulators just as good as Scubapro with the added benefit of selling you as many parts kits you want. These kits are usually very low cost. Some of these same companies will even rebuild them for free and or teach you how to do it yourself. Deep6, DiveRite, DGX, HOG, Nex, quickly come to mind. My advice is to just think as far down the road as is reasonable and put together a plan.

This is NEVER an issue with Scubapro but is an issue with most other brands.
