The difference between the S620Ti and the G260 second stages is only 90 Euros in my region.
Somewhat better at close to $150 AU as opposed to $220 AU a unit difference.

FYI: I’m a petite woman hence the concern. Budget is not an issue and I won’t be diving in extreme cold (at least in the near future).
Honestly (and trust me on this one even if I am a relative noob!) - just go for the small sized s620 and c370 and thank me later! If you choose to go into tech diving later, you are going to be purchasing a new reg for stage bottle in any case and it need not be titanium.

As an analogy - The c370 is like a Mini Cooper while the G260 is the equivalent of a Hummer! Which one would you want?? If you don’t believe me walk into a shop and hold both in either hand…

The trouble is you are asking a question akin to “Which first car should I buy?” … And all the respondents here usually drive Ferraris and Lamborghinis to the shopping mall… :rofl3: (or a Hummer  )

I only had the G260 very briefly in my hands, but it is smaller than the G250 that is one of the most popular regs of all time, so size and weight are no problem. For diving in cold water and tech diving I would recommend the G260. For ocean and travel the S620ti. I had two S620TIs for a while and they are among my favourite regs. Breathes great, easy to service, robust. Compared to the G260 the S620ti is more compact, smaller, and corrosion-proof.

I feel like Scubapro went back to their roots with a full metal barrel in both of these, and I prefer servicing those over G500, S600, C370.
And now I own those two 620s and love them:)

As in two complete sets, first & second, or one primary and the other as alternate on the same first stage?

Aah! It is my dream to run out of air someday and find and grab that 620 as an alternate air source to breathe from … :daydream:

Sipping air from it would be like finding that Bedouin tribesman with a camel and a jar of ice cool lemonade held out to you instead of plain water, after you’ve been stranded in the desert all day… :rofl3:

I slightly misspoke. I bought a S620Ti from Geo7 two years ago. I picked up a few others used on here since then. I run them as primary and alternate with a MK25Evo. Great for travel and as Pearlman said, if you're out of air I offer the sweetest refreshment in town. Would be even lighter if the 1st stage were titanium also but $$$$$. For tech and higher O2% I'm using A700s. Recently picked up a Sherwood SR2 set here for teaching. My local is a Sherwood shop and would of course prefer I use that brand. Haven't used the SR2 outside of the pool yet.
