Monterey Meet and Greet - October 2007?

Alright, reservations are made for Lobos. I have a buddy. Ooh, and I lucked out getting that dive team reservation today. We were dive team number 15. I'll post pictures and a dive report either later tonight or tomorrow after my Lover's Point/Otter Cove/Coral Street dives.

I got my reservation! Mark and I will be there for the dive. We'll work out the specifics as the date nears. I am SO looking forward to this.

I just got my Sunday Oct 7th Pt Lobos reservations! I'll be there with my scooter and can help coordinate if anyone wants. What we gonna do? All go out and dive together? that would be cool! Of course we'd have seperate buddy teams and all.

That's great that you can make it Doc! Looking forward to meeting you.

As for coordinating a plan - I am fine with that. As I mentioned before, I haven't been before so it would be great to dive with others - especially if there is a particular site that anyone knows of that is cool to see. Otherwise, we'll do it loosely. And people can just come and go. Perhaps we can do an informal potluck lunch/picnic or something again. Up to everyone. I am just excited that you all are coming.

Oh no...it looks like I may have waited to long to decide! I was waiting to find out what my divemaster class schedule will be but found out last night I probably won't know for a couple weeks, so I want to just put this on my calendar and say that I'm booked that day. Does anyone still need a dive buddy?

Michelle - I can check with a friend of mine who I have been trying to get to go diving in colder water now for a lonnnnngggggg time to see about getting you a buddy. If we can get a reservation, that'd be good.

Just to let you know also something Pt. lobos related, the Beach Hopper 2 has a monthly charter to Pt. Lobos into areas you can't get to by swimming from the boat ramp such as Bluefish Cove, the 3 pinnacles and etc. There are about 6 spots left so if you wanna go there but don't have a scooter, then sign up quick! They do fill up rather quickly too. This charter is on October 20, 2007 on a Saturday.
