You can enter the reserve by boat without a reservation, you just can't dive. Please remember
that Whalers' Cove is a no-wake zone.

Chuck's right. You can transit through or otherwise enter the park with a boat, just don't dive without a reservation.
We got yelled at by some clown a while back for diving in the park with a boat that we launched from Monterey. And we had the reservations and clearance to do it. Go figure. Some people think they know it all.
Looking back on it, I should have ran the guy over until he quit yelling. :11: Nevermind that the idiot was doing gas drills in the sand channel. Far away from the ramp, in the only area boats can access the ramp.

Wow - so how many people are diving Lovers Sat night? This is getting kind of fun. I am probably going to want to get a low-key meal Sat night's dive if anyone cares to join up .......
