BTW, have you or anyone else heard that Saddle Cove may become inaccessible any day now because of the new water intake construction project? This seems to be the chatter that I'm hearing.
If Saddle Cove is shut down in the future, it might make for a fun project to explore other parts of the lake in search of some decent shore diving.
It really is amazing how many Las Vegans are certified and yet don't dive regularly. I just recently lost my two regular dive buddies who moved away from town and I can't tell you how many certified divers (including one instructor) I have run into who are not at all interested in diving either at the Lake or in SoCal. It's the Caribbean or nothing for them, it seems.
