Other than photo ops or an OOA situation my reg stays in my mouth!!!
Beer, soda etc. has C02 in solution due to pressure, much like bends in divers,
when the pressure is reduced the C02 comes out of solution and forms bubbles.
I'm no scientist, but if I'm at 1 atmosphere and open a beer I have bubbles that
come out of solution, 2 atmospheres the bubbles still come out of solution but
at 1/2 their size. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe the inverse
would be true on opening a beer at depth, the pressure would impede the explosive
growth of the bubbles.
