Islamorada 07/25-08/01 Mini Season

We will be in Islamorada 07/25-08/01 and plan on diving most of the days there. We are going to bring our own pontoon boat down and gonna do Mini Lobster Season. Does anyone have any GPS coor for good lobstering? Or better yet does anyone have any coord. for great places to dive off a pontoon boat?

Also if anyone knows some good charters to take us diving please let me know. I want to try to get one trip chartered.

I take it this is your first trip for Lobster mini-season? I would suggest loading up a chart on your GPS or buying a simple paper chart of the are with local regulations as well. Maybe even better take a charter during those days and leave your boat for the rest of the time you're there.

Whatever you decide to do, please be very careful during the mini-season. It gets really crazy out there.

Islamorada is a bit south of Conch Republic Divers in Tavernier but it's worth the drive.

This is our 2nd year to do it, just last year we had it chartered and this year we want to do it on our own. I will check the sit thanks!
