It's a regular Titan. Probably about 5-6 years old, not that it makes any difference. Matrix computer is an older model, pretty reliable so new batteries should bring it back to life.
Worth?????.....I'd say about $150 or so.

I'm thinking about bidding on this on ebay. It looks like its in good shape but wanted to know what you guys think of this Regulator? Not sure if its and old titan or not.

Aqualung Regulator w/ Aqualung Matrix Dive Computer - eBay (item 150362738360 end time Aug-06-09 16:08:37 PDT)

Nothing wrong with the Titan regs. good decent reg.

The octo is a Dacor Fury. I'm not sure if you can get parts for them. Might want to check as Dacor ended parts distribution for it's older regs a while back.

Figure you'll want to get it serviced for inspection/rebuilt before using. Figure that'll cost you $60 on the cheap side or more likely $120 including rebuilt parts.

so if you get it for $150 and put $120 in it for servicing. you'll have $270 in it.

use that to figure out if you'd rather put that money towards a new reg that doesn't require servicing.

Hi Diehl,

This is not a specific answer about the regulators you are considering, just about buying regs on ebay in general:

1.) Have a good idea of the makes and models that you are interested in first.
2.) Have an idea of what that particular reg is worth new, then make a decision on what it is worth used.
3.) There is no "right answer" on value, but I use LP, Scubatoys, etc., as a reference for pricing, then factor in cost of servicing the reg.
4.) Which brings up servicing: Can you get the reg serviced locally, or will you need to mail it off? Are parts still available for the reg (if it is an older model)?

I've bought 3 regulators on ebay, and have been very pleased with the price savings; but a big part of that is because I do all my own servicing and I made sure I could get parts for the regs before bidding on them.

Have fun with whatever you end up buying!

Best wishes.

I'm leaning towards a Sherwood Brut. I can have it serviced locally and they are reliable
