Federal Circuit? That's about a block from the office. Let me know if you're arguing there and I'll show you some of the more things here in the Imperial Capital. Maybe even O'Ring.

Long Island sounds like something I'm interested in.

Cool. Unfortunately, the panel travels, so I'll probably be in NYC or Boston.

However, I do go to the PTO in VA once in awhile and I sometimes have cases in the E.D.Va (rocket docket). I'll let you know the next time I'm down.

Thanks very much.:D

There are several very good LI dive boats. I like Capt. Klein. He doesn't do as much deep stuff (I mean really deep) as the Wahoo or the Seeker, but his boat is very nice, he is very cool and the wrecks are a real treat.

FYI, call him well in advance. You will need a log book.

Let me know when you'll be in NYC.

I have a 9th Circuit decision that's even better. It's a finding that our hourly rates ($200 to $350 per hour) are not only reasonable, but they are a bargain for the kind of work we do.

You gotta love that kind of case law, especially when you're filing fee applications and the other side claims your rates are unreasonable. "Well, your Honor, the 9th Circuit says our fees are a bargain...."

Lawman once bubbled...
Then we take over. One lawyer can
outfight 5 engineers. We are strong
for our hearts are pure!

We'll seize their dive equiptment and
have their women! :nixon:
That really funny Lawman. The last lawyer that talked to me that way looked really funny trying to eat corn on the cobb with no frickin teeth!

But then again my attorney told me i wasn't suppose to talk about that.:tease:

Natasha once bubbled...
I'm not a lawyer. But when I was single, I dated quite a few of them.
Lawman why are you asking for lawyers?
Can we tell lawyer jokes on your thread?

Oh, please do!!:beheaded: :hanged:

Well, Gedunk, if we don't win the fight can
we still have your women?

Yeah, it was a Chapter 11. We requested a fee enhancement because we got a great result for the client. Our firm came in at the last minute and managed to work some deals on some real estate owned by the Debtor that resulted in a lot more money coming into the Estate. The client (a nasty little man) refused to pay even the base fees and appealed the fee order. He got crushed. It was beautiful.

Or better yet, how about we just conscript gedunk and take the case on a contingent basis. We'll only take a percentage of his women....
