You know, where we can post about colons, "Flomax," and such without grossing out those who don't remember Eisenhower.

The more I deal with becoming gray and not so tough, the more I wonder what I'm missing? I know about Geezer Gas, and I learned about DVT. What's next for this aging diver?

Just an idea. I guess I can handle it all in the current forums and try not to be a bother.... :D

Don, Don, Don... shame on you! We're not "old coots," just well-aged wines with a maturity others will come to envy some day. Ah, if only the young ladies loved us for such wisdom rather than for our wallets!

Eisenhower. Back then I thought he was just a rather genial grandfatherly type. If only we'd listened to some of the wisdom he expounded, especially towards the end of his presidency. Of course even back then I was an Adlai Stevenson type.

By the way, what does a colonoscopy cost? My major professor during my grad school days died of colon cancer. What a role model... he continued teaching until 10 days before he died.

Around $1200 here. Just a good idea for anyone over 50, male or female. A Marlboro Man looking friend of mine waited until he had symptoms, as did my brother - who is now been in remission long enough they consider him cured, altho impaired for life. The cowboy lost part of his colon and all of his prostate last week in surgery. Do one soon...

I'm not against a mature section of the board where we can discuss fun things like diving and beer in a mature way... but an old farts' area to whine about our guts and joints ain't exactly attractive to me. :)

At what point exactly, does one become an "Old Coot"? I would like to avoid that title as long as I can.

A day with nothing to eat, 2 rolls of TP, 20 times about 3 liters of water, and a little pride. Actually, if you are really old enough, pride is pretty much in debt anyway. Insurance took care of the rest.

O yeah, and a bag of cookies when you wake up.

I have pics, and I thought about it for a minute when Kevin loaded the pic of "benign pylops from a wreck dive," but only for a moment.

I suppose a discussion on the pros & cons of Viagra vs Cialis, and which interntional source if best, would be out of the question. :D
