Thought Ide post some pics of Harbor as never seen before during a river flood. It wasnt since 1936 or the 50's flood that the water was this high and probably due to the fact dams and such were built after the flood of 36 or 50's.

This is the restaurant you will seejust off Rt 9 in Middletwon, CT as you are ready to go over the blue Arogoni bridge to the Portland Quarry.

if i remember right it was in the early 80's that it was that high or even higher... nice pics it was up to the 2nd floor and on to rt 9

The mailman corrected me and said the water was over Rt 9 in the 80's. I missed that. But the paper was saying 1930's. I also remeber hearing of a 50's flood also.

I lived in middltown for 18 years and this type of flooding was pretty much an annual event. I'm amazed that that place can still get insurance.
