um..um..um...i didnt spill all the beans....um..um..um :) :) although i have decided that based on how well i was treated, i'm going to bring a vast 'adult beverage' supply so i'll be doing a poll.

That reminds me.

Is anyone going to visit Sam to supply us with the really great "adult beverage" again? If not, I will do it and pick it up the night before.

Where in Ohio are you? Lima??

Should I go to my local supply store and pick up the fixin's so I can have some good home made ready for then?

(Mid April minus 2 1/2 months, means I should start this coming weekend . . .)

Brian,

If you're talking about the 'Sam' at Black Forest, you're going to be disappointed. He moved on to a brewery in Grand Rapids the end of December....

New brewmaster at Black Forest came up from the Redwood Lodge in Flint and I don't recall his name. I have no idea what he is whipping up, as they are still running on most of Sam's creations. Haven't been down to the Black Forest much, as the beer and the medication I have been taking don't mix well.

That just seems to support the idea of home made direct from the Charpie Brewing Co.

I know the area.. :) I used to work as a park ranger in Allen County, one of the parks we had is out that direction.

Welcome to the board.

waldick:
close, i live outside of Delphos, out in the country...about 15 miles west of Lima on US 30...

I remember the days when I made beer. Used to make it from all grain mashes. Lots of work, but worth it.

:)
