Then your neighbor didn’t really need a hip replacement yet. Acupuncture is great to treat pain, but if your hip is truly shot to the point of needing replacement, no amount of acupuncture will address the issue. If not to that point, it certainly may allow you to reduce pain to put it off a little longer.
It is the Chiro/Body Work that is makeing the difference. If you would like I will write back in 6 months.. At least she can walk well now. I understand and appreciate your reply.

Once the hip joint goes bone on bone and you keep walking through the pain for a year or so . . .

The bone doc said the head of the femur had ground its way 2 cm into the pelvic bone. No ackypunkshure is gonna help.

Not a good idea to walk through the pain and do that kind of damage - it can make the replacement more complicated!
