Thank you, I’ll pass along your kind words to Nat. Or better yet, leave her a comment and she’ll be thrilled :)

Yea if I remember there were no hooks or nowhere good to attach anything. The breeze from the vents with the dry A/C air did a good job of drying the stuff. We used to pack a boot dryer and even those big hangers with fans in them but the luggage seems to be more and more filed with camera gear nowadays. I think Gobybdivers had a rack area in the sun you could use too

My wife and I stayed at LionsDive on Curacao a few months ago. It's a 4 star resort. Ocean Encounters is the onsite dive op and offers two-tank morning boat dives and one-tank afternoon. Free tanks to shore dive on your dive days. We were totally happy with the hotel and dive op.

The hotel has four restaurants and offers yoga, massage, guided hikes and drink service on their private sandy beach.
Thanks for the info on LionsDive and Ocean Encounters. My friend and I are planning a dive trip to Curacao and looking for a dive resort to stay at. When you went there was the resort crowded? How about the dive boats? We generally prefer the laid back vibe of shore diving in Bonaire, so we'll probably avoid the boats, but it'd be good to know how busy a place like this is. Thanks!!

We stayed at the Sunscape in Oct 2023 next door to Lions Dive, so I emailed Ocean Encounters. They emailed back and said that they put 25 to 30 divers on a boat, No thank you and they one of the more expensive dive shops. I dove with Goby Divers and they came and picked me up and returned me back to Sunscape and the most divers we had on the boat were six.

The resort wasn't too crowded but then we weren't interested in getting a beach chair either. If that's your thing in the afternoon you might feel differently. On the Ocean Encounters boats we had as few as six divers and as many as twelve. We never felt crowded and really liked the dives.

I've been on 3 week long dive trips with OE, and have never had 25-30 on a boat. Usually it's been 16-18 or less, and their boats are quite a bit larger than other OPs.They also have multiple guides, and split into 2 groups when there's a lot of divers. We've used smaller OPs, and only had 4-6 divers, but have had dives ruined due to a single diver having an issue. We also like that with OE we get free tanks for shore diving for the afternoon/ evening/ night dives we do. Sometimes we'll do 5 dives a day, but only two being boat dives. We're diving with OE again in March, for our fourth trip to Curaçao.
