It's not a matter of manpower. It's a matter of working with law enforcement. The IUCRR operates as an arm of the law during recovery operations. While the case is being investigated, information can only be released by law enforcement. Once the case is closed, it becomes public record. By that point, interest has waned. Some cases also don't seem to close for one reason or another. The IUCRR is also basically one person who volunteers his time. While there are several IUCRR divers, there are very few that can post reports on the website.
Well, for whatever reason, I think it's safe to say we have an incredibly low chance of ever seeing a report. I used to not like hearsay, but it's the best we ever realistically have.

You won't see a report on this one anyway, not as long as they keep searching the cave

Hey Kev, did you remember to pass that suggestion I made along?

... I see swimmers in the springs in nothing but swim suits!...
:hijack: Last summer, just for grins & giggles, my buddy Steve & I donned our mid 60's gear (single 72, single hose, no wetsuit, no bc, no weights etc) and dove Vortex. We lasted 17 minutes. < end :hijack:

Wow Rick. I would have figured you'd have better air consumption than that, even with a 72. :)

Hey SAbbath999, I think deepswim is an obvious troll, please don't encourage him, and I would ask the moderator to "escort" him off this thread.

I can vouch for Deepswim. He is indeed the one who shot the video and all of his info is correct so far.

Oops, sorry for doubting his veracity, it just seemed like his post about planning to do tricks in the piano room was designed to outrage cave divers. My bad.

I still can't get past the guy back there in the shorty... yeah, I know he has nothing to do with Ben, but i've been in that water, I couldn't dive it in a shorty.
I keep looking at the guy with the shorty and thinking he's my ex- husband. I'm pretty sure he's not but he sure dives like him. His name isn't Ed Z., is it?
