I'm a Fish!
Just curious and not seeking to start a split versus blade debate all I am interested in is hearing peoples opinions on what their favorite fin is and also what there most hated fins are. Ill start

I hate my twin jet maxes because they just done appear to be adequate for my needs. They appear underpowered in current and just not a good fin for fit.

My favorite fin is my apollo bio fins as they give me the freedom to feel like I am not even wearing fins and are extremely comfortable on my feet.

I don't scuba dive, I just snorkel and the fins I prefer when I snorkel in the North Sea off the North East coast of England are my Japanese-made Gull Mews:

They come in a variety of solid colours and match my swimming needs in terms of power, manoeuvrability and endurance. I also like my Mexican made Escualo Clasicas:

The foot pockets are wide and high enough to accommodate my feet comfortably and they also match my swimming needs.

The snorkelling fins I dislike most are those sold on the basis of their flight luggage lightness. They are made from a hotchpotch of "thermoplastic elastomer" and translucent plastic and designed in gimmicky shapes, e.g.:

Sadly, fins like the above are the only type marketed here in the UK for snorkelling purposes by local dive stores. You have to use online swimming goods retailers in this country if you want to purchase traditional snorkelling fins.

Hollis F1 "Bat fins".

My favorite fins are MY fins. I only have one pair. They fit and they help push me around underwater. :D
