So friends yesterday my sister and I did a Try SCUBA thing and she enjoyed it. She is still talking about how she was mermaid yesterday (she loves The Little Mermaid). I have kinda mentioned this but like me my twin sister has Cerebral Palsy.
My sister's CP is Right hemiparesis so her right arm and leg don't work well. She was able work the gear and stuff on her own, the only recommendation was something to keep the regulator in front of her. It is good that she can use normal rentable gear and doesn't have but stuff to have it customized for her.
As me I did get some cheep webbed gloves on temu to try and they helped a lot swimming though the water, though some hand signals are hard with them so it might take either some modifications or looking at other things.
As far getting certified, sis is interested but it will have to wait till something happens to my cat Luna she is 14 and need medicine twice a day. Due to that we can't exactly go take a weekend trip to Beaver Lake (about 5 hours one way) to get certified and she not get her meds....
