We should have our own pumpkin carving contest. We can take pics and post them for judging. Knowing me I'll cut a finger off though ;)

Well.... if it involves diving I'd say there is a really good chance I could be talked into it....

What-Pumpkin carving dive: everybody welcome, Ft. Wetherill
When-Closer to Halloween and/or when I can afford a rental, a pumpkin, a glo-stick, and gas to drive out there
Other details-BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin), We need at least one underwater photographer, a Rescue Diver to deal with severed fingers might also be useful

;)

sounds messy

Hmm.... what time were you there? We arrived sometime around 11:15 am. I am pretty easy to recognize because I am 6'3" tall.

South Africa ought to neat. I can't say that I ever heard anything about diving there beyond the fact that they have some mighty impressive sharks!

If you come down to RI to dive in Novemeber there is a pretty good chance of running into me. I practically live at the dive sites here and I have no plans to stop for the winter! :D

So it turns out the real bummer about my torn neck seal was that I picked about the worst week to get a piece of dive gear fixed. This week is the DEMA show so all the people from the shops around here that could do the repair are out out of town. DOH!

Time to bring the wet suit back out of the closet for a bit.....

I was the GIRL. That oughta clear it up, right? No, I'm kidding, there was another girl there (and a mighty badass one if you ask me - she was diving wet!!) - but we were taking off when she was getting out.

We will be seeing said impressive sharks closeup - from a cage, of course. We're also doing a couple of wrecks, I think - the diving there is actually supposed to be pretty good, though it is spring there and still a bit "chilly" - as in...about 10 degrees warmer than here at depth.

Good luck getting your seal fixed - you could always head out to Vegas!

We are either out of town or otherwise occupied for the next month - but we may see you around in Nov - Ft. Wetherill is what we're always reading about, so that may be first on the list. Ya'll have fun on your pumpkin dive!!
