Dove ft w this am. Only one other diver. Conditions calm and sunny. Vis around 5’. Temp 66. 45 mins 25’. Very fishy with many blackfish, Black Sea bass and some scup. Small and large starfish.
Just the information I was looking for! We’re thinking of either FW or King’s Beach for tomorrow. Did Sandwich Town Beach today, it’s never as fishy as FW, but sooo many more lobsters, sea stars and smaller crabs. Temp 63, 85 mins 16’. A bit of a drive, especially for you, but a nice dive.

Well my ri dive season is coming to and end and not a great ri season for me. My one three day trip was blown out and only managed a couple of dives at other times during the summer. Hope others fared better.

We’ve done ok this year. We’re planning one more this coming Saturday, did FW last Friday and King’s Beach Sunday.
FW had fantastic viz, saw several tropicals, mostly spotfin butterfly, and many locals. My wife listed it as one of her top dives of the summer. We also saw what, I think, was the largest sea star that I’ve ever seen! 65 degrees at 29’, 1 hour and 19 minutes.
King’s beach was a different story. We went in at low-to-slack. Vis was around 4-6 ft, dropping to 3 in some places. We decided to explore the cove by Price Neck out to Poop Rock. Mostly shallow, max depth was 15’, average was 7.6’, 64 degrees. Saw a fare amount of fish around the 2 rock structures to the left as you head out, even 1 tropical.
So, if all goes well, 12 dives this summer. Oh, and my wife got her 50th dive in on the FW dive last Friday, in under 2 years!
Now, bring on the warm, clear waters of winter! (Caribbean, that is)

Erik

Sounds like a great summer. What’s next for warm water? We have Bonaire in January
