If you have the Vindaloo at the Bombay Cottage in Hamilton, Scotland, they advise fastening the seatbelt in their toiletWhich decompression schedule were you following? I find Taco Bell to be a little too rapid.
Depending on how high the rig is off the water.... but if I remember physics right... is like, 32ft per second per secondI jump off an oil rig, how fast am I descending?

And what contingency is there? Maybe if you stayed at the bottom for three minutes, not one, or you slowed your descent. Or, perish the thought, you have a problem at 150m/500ft = 16ATA where the bottom bailout gas will be emptied in virtually no time and it’s a very long way up to the travel gas switch. So, if I’m not ascending or descending at 30fpm but rather as fast as a Genesis 2.1 can descend and ascend, how much deco is cut?
47 minutes runtime for a 150m/500ft dive. What if I told you total run time was :47 minutes.
Because I know things you don’t know.47 minutes runtime for a 150m/500ft dive.
Bottom time of 40 seconds in MultiDeco shows the runtime as 167 minutes.
You're claiming you used a DPV to drive down and up to get it to 47 minutes.
Why?
Obviously your super-hero approach to everything you do means that's a good thing.
On the other part of planet earth, a dive like that would be planned and executed very carefully with safety divers, staged bailouts and lots of P's (Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance). Also with an aim to achieve something at that depth -- for the cost of many many hours of decompression.
Fair dincum.Because I know things you don’t know.
And I’m not going to give a tutorial here, but what gases did you use? What GF? Etc. I know the answers to these questions, but you can only speculate.
Suffice it to say, I had plenty of planning, way more bailout than I needed. And the dive was a non-event.
Oh, and I did have a reason. And it was accomplished on that dive. The reason was to test in a real world environment the work of breathing characteristics of a new rebreather on the market at 500’. The conclusion: it’s the best breathing rebreather on the planet and breathes virtually the same at all depths.
I only needed a minute at depth to answer that question.
