Dang it, I have to get to a meeting! Wanted to play with

The dive shop is a little old place where
We can spend our paychecks... paychecks baby"

Or maybe

Let us be buddies, we'll dive the deep waters together
I"ve got some scuba gear here in my bag

You just HAVE to develop those two... especially the second (I wonder if anyone else recognises it?)

James... don't stop now... You have to catch up with me first! Good stuff!!!

I think there's a few people on this board diving a little TOO DEEP!
A whole bunch of people one fry short of a happy meal!!

Your threads are narcing me,
Caymaniac:maniac:

NetDoc, how do you recognize the tune when he's only written two lines to the song? That's amazing! So what songs are they.

I've beenwanting to try my own song, but have too many tunes to try and choose from. I think I've narrowed it down to Lukenbach Texas though.

I wish I could make one up as quickly as NetDoc does!

I don't think anyone has done anything by No Doubt, or that new Canadian singer either.

"Hey Baby, Hey" or "Spiderwebs" seem like naturals...

We are also missing from many, many others... ya'll get busy. I'll write when the inspiration hits again.

Another one gets on the boat, kills me!

Ok, Pink Floyd "comfortably numb"

"Hello... is there anybody in there?
Just nod 'cause you can't hear me,
is there anyone who'll go?
C'mon now, it's time for going down,
And I can ease your brain,
get you narced off your a** again.
Relax, you're just a little sea sick,
there'll be no more Aaahh-ggaackk.
But you may think you need to s**t.

There is no air you are receiving,
there goes our ship's wake on the horizon.
You are going to wash up with the waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what you say...
When I was a child I was a rototiller,
my fins stirred-up plumes like two balloons,
now I'm finning like a 'tiller once again,
I can't explain, you would not understand,
this is not how I am!
And I..hii..I feel comfortably narc'ed."
-Guitar solo-

Beth, Tom and Pete, Thanks. I will try to put out a few more. I just thought the thread had kinda died, but now that it is resurected(sp?)........ hmmmmm...

Another week and it will be a year old... :tease:

Aw man. And I will be out of the coutry for it's B-day!

Anyway, here is my latest submission

Sung to Tim McGraw's "I like it, I love it"

Spent 48 dollars
last night on compressed air
My cards over my limit
but the LDS doesn't care.
They got me buying,
BC's, and all sorts of gear.
I ain't seen the Braves
play a game all year.
I'm gonna get fired,
if I don't get some sleep.
My long lost dive buddies,
say I'm diving much too deep.

(chorus)
But I like it, I love it,
I want some more of it.
I dive so far
I can't stay above it.
Don't know what it is
that's makin my ears buzzin'
If it's narcosis, I love it
I want some more of it.

My Mama and Daddy
tried to teach me through NAUI.
But they kept saying
I could go past 130 feet.
Now I hitting 200
and hopin for more
I narced out of my mind,
and I'm deeper than before.
Crossin my fingers
and countin every breath
Praying that I keep
coming up alive from this.

Chorus

Gotta fill my tanks, and give thanks
to the rapture of the deep.
When I finally hit the bottom
I hope that I have gotten
Enough air left to see the sea.

Chorus
