Huh? You are booked in the hotel that you book.

I value oceanfront not at all. Certainly wouldn't pay almost double for it. You'll see enough of the water diving. You can sit on the balcomy by the pool and see the water.

Casa Mexicana has more than one property. Folks on TripAdvisor have bitched that they thought they booked Mexicana, but were put in another property (like Suites Bahia, mentioned above).

Who are you diving with? Sometimes you can get a better price or room if your dive op books with them.

Crap..., you are calling me out. I have always dived with 3P's and really liked them. But..., I feel like I should give another operator a try - like Blue XT Sea and/or Aldora. I would like to book with more than one dive shop and would feel bad about not booking all dives with someone that booked my room at a discounted rate.

I may still book all with one dive shop, but am currently exploring my options.

Fair enough but likely Jeanie could get you in the room you want.

I know how you feel, I dove with Aldora and 3P's my last trip, I shouldn't have but I felt a little guilty.

I know... It's a dilemma... I really like the posts from Dave and Christi. But Jeanie and 3P have treated me really well. I would hate to ask Jeanie to get me a great room and not give 100% of my business.

Where did your guilt lie??

And each property has it's own website. However, all three sites have the same navigation bar, reservation box, and basic layout. Clicking a sister hotel link opens a new browser tab. I'm inclined to believe those folks just clicked on a sister hotel and booked the wrong hotel from the wrong page. Have you seen even one such complaint on Scubaboard, Facebook, Expedia review, Orbitz review, etc.?

Just save yourself the grief and some money and book on Orbitz or Expedia or Hotels.com

I have got to think the website each thing is within the past year. When I looked last year, it seemed like the main site wanted to book you and kind of hide that you were booked at another property. At that time, I ended up booking at Hotel B, because my non-diving wife decided to come with me. I thought I was upgrading, but I was wrong (Hotel B was more like Hotel D-).

I don't trust Expedia, Orbitz or others to not book into the correct hotel when there are three properties to pick from.
