I saw a Bare 7mm semidry size ML for $129.00 on www.divetank.com You can add a hooded vest for a little bit more which pretty much keeps water out and puts 14mm insulation over your core.

Crap! I lent my wet suit out to my cousin. She came home this weekend and was supposed to bring it back to me, but forgot it. I'm gonna check on renting one, but my LDS is an hour away. Anyone know of somewhere in Santa Rosa that you can rent a wet suit?

My personal feelings here: I don't like 2-piece suits or bothersome hoods. Prefer jumpsuits and beanies with chin straps...

Get a 7 mil and meet us there next weekend. :cheering: Be careful about flying after diving, tho. Raton pass is challenging enough, and if you're a few hundred feet higher than that - ouch! Bad place to take a hit!

Yeah, I think that we push the NDL enough by simply surfacing at high altitude. Driving over a pass scares me. I would wait 24 hours to fly.

ummm i dont have to fly in the moutians....and i have a good enough head on my shoulders that i would not push the weather as for the NDL i only fly at 7500/6500 so its not that big of a deal (unless i snag my dads plane which i fly at 8500/7500 that isnt much higher the moutian diving.... but im going to figure a few things out and see what i can take... also has anyone ever dove in utah?

also i fly when its 20 degrees out just need to make sure the tep due point isnt the same so i dont get any ice

Sounds like you know your way around the flying bit. Raton pass is about 6700 feet, would you fly thru it? Keep in mind that my knowledge of flying is limited to changing terminals, going for FC upgrades, and claiming my luggage before anyone else does.

The Blue Hole is at 4600 feet so I figure the altitude dives at 5000. My Oceanic computer senses the altitude automatically when I activate it once there, +1000 feet, which is close enough for me as long as I keep it very happy in the Green zone. I think the Colorado and Albuquerque divers always try to kill a few hours before driving home thru the respective passes, and I guess you'd be fine if you just added one more to whatever they usually do. I don't know how much diving, much less altitude diving you've done, so please forgive me if I'm boring you here.
