I have both the Bare SB Undergarment (blue shaggy one piece). My dive buddy is super skinny and she's never has any issues with them. She's done lots of 1.5 hour dives in them. If the water drops into the high 40s or if the dives run deco or to the 2.0 hour mark, I find the BZ400 keeps me warmer.

If your dives last around 1.0 hour, I think you'll be fine with your Bare SB. A Santi BZ400 cost +$500.00. I would do a couple of dives in your Bare SB before ordering a BZ400.

I do have both undergarments and predominantly use the BZ400.

So I can't say I felt cold in the Bare SB Mid Layer. I didn't feel warm either. But then again, I probably need more data, I have only done 4 dives with it. The plan wouldn't be to order a BZ400 till I do a few dozen more. But yeah, I guess, it'd be nice if I felt a bit more cozy.
