If the vaccine can further reduce the number of death as well as serious enough to be admitted to hospital then it is doing a decent job.

Vaccination works, even though it would not get to 100% effectiveness and with lots of anti vaxxers here (my neighbor works at the hospital & she is one). Just look at the USA cases, below.

So, just get yourself vaccinated with whatever vaccines available. Quit arguing about statistical nonsense! Just look at the results!

Just look at these 2 charts. I marked Jan 10-11, 2021 as a reference point for comparison since the timelines (x-axis) of both charts are different. On Jan 10, 2021 we were at the peak of new cases with 7-day avg. of new cases = 254,877, where 9 million doses of
1st shot of vaccines (2.7% of population) given out. Yesterday, July 2, 2021, the 7-day avg. of new cases = 13,596, where 182 millions 1st shots (55% of population) and 156 millions 2nd shots (48% of population) given out.
