My dive group just came back from diving in Komodo. We saw this book in Labuan Bajo airport souvenir shop. They have 2 books left. I told one of my dive buddies to buy it. So, there’s one left there if anyone is interested & happens to be in LBJ, go get it!

When we went to Menjangan last month Secret Bay was “closed” to diving — not sure why, or by whom, but apparently it is occasionally closed. So you may want to confirm that it’s “open” shortly before departure.

One other thought is that you’re doing three dives on Friday and then driving up to and overnighting in Ubud which is at 600 meters elevation. That might be tempting fate.

I’m now in Menjangan. We’ll head out to Secret Bay after breakfast. I’ll report back the diving later.

Just checked in to my bungalow in Mimpi yesterday after an 3-hour drive from Denpasar and had a nice relaxing dip in private jacuzzi with hot spring water piped up to it in my bungalow.

Brings back good memories...not been to Mimpi Menjagan for over a decade. Nice big pool and good food at the beachside resto.

The Bangais are still there...saw my first Hairy Froggy at Secret Bay. What was the water temp?
