back mounted CCR end of life?

according to tec instructor in the region bacmounted CCR are end of life and chestmounted is the way to go. Curious to have the community opinion on that

I like my BM CCR and plan to keep it for at least another 10 years. So based on N=1, they will be around for another 10 years.

Same I won't be ditching my back mount rEvo for side or chest mount any time soon.
Even if I was buying today I would only be looking at back mount units.

I am so happy with my back-mounted rebreather, which was probably designed in the previous century.
