We got four dives in over the weekend in almost perfect conditions; flat seas, hardly any wind, warm (23°C to 24°C) water and good visibility. I used the Tokina 10-17 on Saturday and the Sigma 17-70 on Sunday. I'm still going through my shots but here's a few of my favourite shots so far:

That ray looks huge! How big was it?

The ray isn't that big, only about 2 metres in diameter. The angle I took the photo from and the lens I used (Tokina 10-17 @ 10,mm) at very close range makes it look a lot bigger than it really is.

incredible pics everyone, love the WA shots and am amazed at the shots from port phillip bay. just supurb!!
Conditions out of townsville last couple of days have been perfect and we have been snorkeling yesterday and today had a nive dive at davies reef with my camera so will go thru my pics tommorrow

Well I got out for a dive tonight. My drysuit has some tears in the outer layer so was fixing those, and dived in my wetsuit. It was pretty cold (my computer had 9.4 as minimum temperature with a max of 10.6) so my hands and feet went completely numb. Coldest dive yet! Got 66 minutes in though and got to take lots of photos 
I was joined by burna, Mike, Margaret (some of you will remember her from Fish Rock) and another guy at the dive site, but I went off on my own for this dive. Mike came back with a bullet, some old bottles and a 1912 half penny so was quite pleased
