pricey price???...If they are, where's the best (cheapest) place online to order one ??---remember, grey market products are OK with me---ESP.-- on a fricking mouthpiece.........lol..& ....TIA

EDIT:---it doesn't necessarily have to be the name brand SeaCure, but something(else) very similar...again, TIA....

i like mine - and on air shares, i've never had a buddy spit it out & refuse it. :D

on regular ones, i tended to bite & clench & fidget my mouth, but i don't do that with the seacure. i just bought it in a shop, so i can't help with where to get one online.

Though I've switched it to my backup for the duration of the current class... :)

I didn't like the SeaCure price either. just didn't see the $25 price of a mouthpiece being worth it. (that and I didn't want one that big).

I like the AL "comfo-bite" shape, but the hard rubber of it was rubbing my gums.

so I just bought one of these to replace it. I think I'm going to like it much better because the rubber is very soft and won't rub as much

Another option to check out is the Innovative Scuba Comfort Cushion Mouthpiece

mike, what i like about the seacure is that it clings to my teeth without any clenching from me - i don't think the cushion or gel ones would be enough. i haven't tried the comfobite, though. it might take the effort away from my jaw.

I really like the seacure. There is a little sticker shock with the price however I have had mine for a really long time and it keeps on going and going. Seems like a big investment up front but the comfort and long life and durability has made it worth the price to me. As for cheapest place, not sure on that one, got mine at a LDS.

most folks that have tried the Seacure seem to like it.

I just didn't want on that big. (Lots of personal preference in what folks in a mouthpiece, or there can be...)

I like the comfobite because that 'bridge' helps keep it in my mouth without having to clinch it..... but it being 'loose' caused a little 'gum rub' about half way back on my gums when I dove several days in a row with 3+ dives a day. (If I clinched down on it I might not have that issue, but don't want to dive "lock jaw" the entire time).

I'm hoping that the issue is resolved with the soft rubber "no name" one that was recommended to me. that and I replaced my LP hoses with Miflex and re-routed them. (but that wasn't due to the mouthpiece).

We love ours, the Yellow Angel Fish and I.

Have had mine over a year and love it. Requires very little effort to keep in mouth.
Think the cost is minimal for the comfort.
