How would it know what your gas loading is while running primary CCR?

You would have told it the primary CCR's setpoint up front.

That would not be easy in so many ways. How would it know what your gas loading is while running primary CCR? It isn't watching the oxygen cells in the primary CCR. That goes for any bailout CCR.

Doesn't Divesoft already do this? A dedicated BO CCR mode?

As does shearwater on Analog CCR handsets.

Shearwater already does this on the Fischer devices, No problem to do the same on the controllers. As others Said, Divesoft is doing this.

The only official picture disseminated on an mCCR version is here, dated June 2023; it appears this unit has a 4-pin Petrel 2/3 on it as a primary monitor:

An MCCR is in the works and a Shearwater controller may be an option for the ECCR version soon.

you can already buy a mccr release... you can see them in some european forum...

The Shearwater controller was announced at Boot 2025 on saturday. The upgrade will be available from March.
