I put one of these on layaway at my LDS this weekend (happy birthday to me). I'll be picking it up in the next 2 weeks. I still haven't been able to find a lot of info on it, but coming from a 770r, I'm hoping a lot of what I know will carry over. I really like the built in GPS, wireless charging, and it's ability to do sidemount specific, CCR (if I ever go that route), and plan deco diving (something the 770r doesn't do).

Merry Christmas to me!

I will be in the pool this weekend with it (been waiting on a new transmitter, and a few other new pieces of gear). Going to try and get a few pool visits prior to my trip to Cozumel next month.

Meh, mixed reviews. I don't want to pass judgement on just the first time getting it wet. The screen is awesome, even at 70%, it was clear and bright. I could not get it to display tank pressure in OC mode. I switch to SM mode (I was diving single tank sidemount just to check out some new gear) and it worked perfectly. In OC mode, it would show the battery was good, so I know it was linked, but it would not give me tank data, almost like it was in FreeDive mode. Going to go play with it again soon in the pool. Taking it to Cozumel next month, and want to be as familiar as possible with it when I'm there. I have it paired with a Shearwater Swift. Again, in sidemount mode everything was good, could read my tank pressures, GTR, saturation, etc. Just couldn't get it to give me any data in OC mode. Also again, don't take this as a thumbs up/thumbs down, as it's the first time I've had it in the water. Still happy I bought it, as it does a lot that my i770R won't do (what got replaced by this).

Well, another weekend, and another day in the pool. There's definitely something going on with the software in the computer. If I go into side mount or gauge mode, it will give me tank pressures, GTR, etc. Switching to Open Circuit, I get nothing. When in open circuit mode, I can go in and select the transmitter, and it will show me "Good battery" and the tank pressure, but exiting back to the dive screen, it just shows the gas mix, no pressures, no GTR, etc. I dove with it again today, and other than this huge issue, I really like it. I'm working on my side mount right now, so that's how I've been diving, but only with 1 tank. I opened a ticket with Apeks support when I got home, so I'll update the thread when I hear back form them.I don't see how it could be user error (not ruling it out though), since it will show me the tank pressure when I select the transmitter, but on the dive screen, only shows the mixture. Sat on the pool deck and went through the manual, and it should show the tank pressure to the right of the gas mixture. Photos attach.

Maybe there's a screen program mode that allows selection of desired fields? You would think the default layout would have the essentials though.
