Do it below the Rio Grande and stay to heal. Cozumel, Cancun, Del Rio, Juarez. I suggest Cozumel combined with healing time on the island, or Cancun with van trips to the ferry. Not much to enjoy near Del Rio or El Paso, except the latter is not far from White Sands NP.

Didn't mean to imply I didn't find the posts interesting. More just a comment about how far reaching these threads are. Sorry if my attempt at humor made you take it as some sort of criticism.

Ha ha! No criticism taken. The bridge was was my lousy attempt at humor. Digression is the best part of SB. Unfortunately digression usually leads to regression wich usually leads to the pub.
