Well, it is 2020, so no surprise. Someone has to have bad luck, and I guess it was my turn.Man, really a chitty happening! Even with a tenth of the workload, they can still screw with our minds!
I guess the wife and I just got plain lucky?
I finally tracked both of my bags to the Lubbock airport Tuesday night, then got an email from Wheresmybag.com saying that they had One of them to go out on delivery. I replied that they needed to deliver two bags and requested a phone call with an estimated time, but crickets. I waited, then at 1 pm called the AA bag specialist who said he had phone numbers for that delivery company, would look into it and let me know. Waiting. I need to make a half day shopping run tomorrow. And then Wheresmybag customer service emailed me with a phone number to the driver - Yay! She's on the other side of Lubbock somewhere, thinks she can pickup the bags at 5 pm, promised to try to get both, and call me with an ETA. Progress!
My ticket refund has been requested. The bag fees went thru on my card and I do not see how to request that refund on their site so I disputed those. I'd already paid Mary Carmen for two nights, and tried my best to cancel before arrival time explaining the problem, but they are trying to charge me for two more nights. It's good that I am a bored old retired coot with time to deal with all of this.
