woke up at 5.45am to get to my first cardio training session.... expected some fast paced walking around, boxing and moving some ball work between some markers

ugghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

what i got was running (well my version of running) and power walking (after i couldnt run anymore) up and down hills, and skipping and more power walkinig and more skipping then chasing balls and running thru markers and then jumping thru hoopy things......

oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i felt ok but have been sitting down for about 45mins now and can feel myself gettinig sore..... tomorrow is gonna be fun :D

but i did it!!!!!!!!!

I, on the other hand, am about to go out to eat for fun for the first time since mid-September (I was at 175 lbs on 10/1 - my official start date and weight, but by then I had already been working at losing the weight for a couple of weeks. Too many false starts in teh last couple of years to want to know how bad it was if I wasn't going to be able to carry through.)

We'll see if I can have fun and not feel deprived without going too far beyond what I've been eating recently...

goodluck and have fun!

i must say, saturday night i had fizzy drink (i went from 4cans of coke a day to nothing!) and i was awake till 2am, all buzzed on the sugar.... wont be donig that again!!!!

have fun

Although I drink it for the taste, and don't really care whether it has caffeine or not. It has no calories, doesn't keep me awake, and doesn't seem to make any significant difference on any easy to measure health indicators (heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure) - so for now I see no reason to give it up.

I did 1 hour of weights

:wave-smil woohooooooooooooooooooo aubie

i had a scare today (other than the cardio session :D)

FIVE weeks till im on a plane to vanuatu!!!! if that doesnt get me wanting a smaller butt i dont know what does!

:multi: nice!!!!!!!!!! if and when i get use to the 2 sessions per week im doing with the trainer... when im ready to add a 3rd, kickboxing is what i will be doing

im hoping tomorrow i wont be feeling sore after todays session ;)

Good job everyone!

Although I haven't checked in in awhile, I am still maiking steady progress.

6 days a week of 30 to 60 minute cardio and 5 days a week of sculpting and weights (hand weights up to 15lbs). Lunges, squats and high box step ups are killers...but they work!!!

I bought some videos that are GREAT...called The Firm. They've been around for 25 years and they WORK! I have the Cardioweight system (comes with four work-outs and a set of hand weights) and the Transfirmer System (comes with three videos and a stackable step that adjusts from 8" to 14" high and also inclines to use as a benach. These are FUN and challenging work-outs. I burn an average of 500 to 600 caloroes per work-out.

Target and Amazon both carry the FIRM products (a Gaiam company) and Wal-Mart sells some of the videos as well without the accessories. Or you can order directly from The Best Aerobic Activities and Workout Routines Combined for Total Fitness

I did 50min of 'Turbo Jam' :)
