I've stayed quiet long enough on this one.

I dropped 23kg since January 1. Thats 50lbs in ye olde imperial! Diet and exercise. Nothing else. 45 minutes daily in the gym - and lotsa veggies. 5kg to go....

:balloon

Great job! That's my goal - I'm just short of half way there. Unfortunately, the last half needs to occur during Christmas . . .

wow - fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

after a great start last year, this year has been a massive plataeu so its great to hear how well people are doing!!!

after sitting at my desk for about 2hrs i just tried to stand up and go to the bathroom (1ltr of water down)...... im walking like a robot!

I need to get back on this horse, but with all I have going on it is tough, but I need to try.

Linda...I am with you. I have been doing things but not enough. So tonight I started and I am making it a daily habit. Thought i would post it to make that commitment to myself.

I actually feel better after running. Who knew :D

Eeewww, those Thanksgiving leftovers keep staring at me everytime I open the fridge!:shakehead:

I haven't worked out since wednesday! I swear I'm getting back on track starting tommorrow.:D

I actually spent Saturday making a turkey with all the trimmings just so we had leftovers (we ate at a relative's house - and my spouse was feeling deprived without any leftovers in the house).

If I were in the maintenance phase of weight management it might be a problem - that's when I have trouble. I'm pretty motivated in the loss phase. I don't anticipate a problem sticking with my plan except for a brief period between December 15 and 25 when I have lots of my favorite cookies in the house (the ones I make only once a year).

I could use a little motivation. I have been doing a good bit of exercise 3-4 times a week, but I dont have anyone I am accountable to. Would someone on here like to take on the job of calling me to get my lazy butt out of bed and to the park in the mornings around 6 am???

and get your lazy butt out of bed and go for a walk RIGHT NOW!!! hows that

now me... OH MY glootsssssssssssssss....... all that leg work yesterday has literelly came back and kicked me in the butt as my legs and backside are killing me.... planning a leisurely walk at lunchtime to stretch them out a bit

gotta keep going... gotta keep going :multi:

I am up at 5am every day, I'll take the job ;)

I just got off the treadmill and I am sweaty. I don't like running inside, been doing it outside, but the weather kills me.

I will make this a part of my day...it will be like brushing my teeth.
