I work a 12 hour day every 3rd Saturday and Sunday. There are ups and downs in the days, but yesterday was certainly a butt kickin' day. LOL

As far as what I ate over the weekend... that's typical when I work the "long" weekends (and actually, I used to eat FAR worse than that!). When I'm at home, I eat much more healthy with lots of fruits and veggies. When I go to the gym (probably tomorrow morning, if the snow storm doesn't hit early) I'm gonna change the bike routine. I am limited on the cardio... doc doesn't want me on the treadmill (even walking on it), stair stepper, or elliptical cause my knees are too bad. I can swim, but there is no pool at the gym, and not a gym around that has a pool. So, I'm confined to the bike. I am going to change the program on the bike though and maybe try some hills, or the "random" setting.

I'm addicted to the scales! Seriously... I have issues when I'm trying to lose, and I don't step on them every day. I know, that's bad.

Maybe I'm over-reacting. Is 2 weeks really that bad for a plateau? Maybe I should just see what Thursday's weigh-in holds. I dunno. Maybe I'm obsessing.

the thing to do is not to use it as an excuse to spiral way back down to where we started

as Fairy pointed out... salty foods retains water plus being women we tend to do that naturally on a cycle anyway

remember.... take one meal at a time, take one day at a time

Ok back to my regulary scheduled work out...Man, I hate it.......But I was a BAAAADDDD girl over the weekend. Punishment is being administered as we speak....
 
I got on the scales this morning (ducking for cover right now!! LOL), and it showed me at 276.9... so maybe, just maybe... I was stressing too much about the plateau thing.... maybe, I was "having a moment". LOL I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Thursday! :wink:

I noticed the fat and salt content... bacon, sausage, hotdogs.

Years ago I was on a low fat diet, where I actually counted fat grams, limiting myself each day (I forget what the number was), but that was quite helpful, while we all need some fat in our diets, it is probably best to keep it at a minimum. Lots of the things I eat are low in fat grams even on the routine I am following today.
