Need recommendation for Open Water instructor near Memphis, TN

If you are interested in getting certified.... not getting a bunch of gear you don't need yet.... go to Saralynn Turner at Easy Divers (Home Page). You can't go wrong with her.

    Northeast Tennessee Dive Locations?

Not too far away you have Loch Low Minn and Philadelphia, both pretty nice quarries, but your pushing south of Knoxville. If you want to drive down 40, Martha's is over near Nashville, and personally, my favorite place to dive in the state, by far.

    Dive sites near Atlanta, GA?

Hey Everyone, Just wanted to get included if anyone plans any diving in Jan or Feb. I am interning in Atlanta for the spring, and would love to get down to the springs for a weekend of maybe the coast. Pretty much up for anything you all are getting together. Matt

Didn't you lose your making fun of Vandy privileges this year? (I say that with a sigh of relief that we didn't). Pat Dye? Who was that? Doesn't seem to resonate through the SEC like a Bear Bryant, Robert Neyland, or Steve Spurrier.

Ouch... that's definitely not the hire I expected when they let Tuberville go. Thoughts, Mike?

Wonder if Tubs will end up at State now? Might be a record... 3 teams in the same division?

    Atlanta Housing?

Hey everyone, Some may know me, some may not, but I go to school up in Knoxville, and am getting close to graduating. As such, I already know I am going to end up in Atlanta long term, but was wondering if I could get some help in the near future. Starting in January, I am working on an...

    Philly Quarry Potluck -- Saturday!

Anyone else thinking about going? I'd be up for getting out there early Saturday and getting a full day of diving in, especially since they have tanks and fills there. Anyone up for carpooling from Knoxville?

You can claim the bye week is a good thing all you want, but I'm not buying it. I've seen teams all over get stomped after an early season bye. Teams get out of their groove many times when given time off. Granted, it does help with injuries, but this is still pretty early in the season to...

So can I read that as 'Free beer for Matt if he is right!'? Surely its worth something to be right... especially with that MS State prediction. Who picks someone from that state to beat the national champions at home?

I think Georgia is way overrated (refer to 2005 Tennessee), and I think UT beats Florida at home and avenges last years loss. They then lose to Auburn, but the East is ridiculous the last few years, and it very well might be the one with only 2 losses gets in to Atlanta. I look for Tennessee to...

It's good, but old. Several schools have changed things around since it was updated. Still a good general reference though

Unless you meant Neck. Which I hope you didn't. Its a catchy song, but very un-LSU. I always respected them for being a very good, and very traditional band, and this just seems to kinda blow that. They do play it well though. YouTube - LSU Tiger Band Playing Neck - Best Yet From Band View

I can't explain most of what Tennessee football players do. I assume that is from '05? If so, I believe that is Jim Bob Cooter, which can explain a lot in itself

Chinese Bandits: http://www.fightmusic.com/mp3/sec/LSU__Chinese_Bandits.mp3 From what I get, they play it after every third down stop, and get the crowd to chant L-S-U on the last three notes. They also have two others I really like... Touchdown Sequence...

You have to put the gator chomp up there with annoyance. It was a good idea, but like so many good ideas, became overdone. Now people do it for pretty much no reason. It's a good chant, but again, the symbol just gets way overused.
