I actually had a dive master tell us that as one of his "dive signals" pre dive on a dive boat in Jamaica... not kidding

My original post said I was MENTAL so yes it's a psychological thing. Was hoping to gleam from the experiences of any "shy bladders" in the dive community.![]()

Given the description of peeing to the cheers of your dive mates, "shy" is not the adjective I'd reach for.
Tropicalwolf - ignoring the fact that you seem to be ignorant of the potential effect of pressure on one's urinary functions, you do realize Sam is talking about a dry suit with a pee valve, right?
In all seriousness, not being able to pee underwater is becoming a frustrating issue for me.
I've never been able to pee while in my wetsuit either but the minute the wetsuit is peeled off I can pee immediately. Now I use a She-P/P-valve in my drysuit and I'm still not able to pee underwater.
