@Seraphimx: With the right size bolt-snap, proper technique, and a little practice, these disadvantages disappear. 2 min. is a looooong time to be futzing with a gauge. If it takes you that long to unclip/read/clip-off, then I'm not surprised you've chosen to go in a different direction.
It doesn't really take 2 min (don't know since I've never timed it. But it takes enough time for me to get really INTO unclipping the SPG and noticing that I drifted away a few foot from buddies etc.) But thanks again for the tips, I'll try with a larger clip.
Why i wrote in this thread was to notify that I have been using left chest D-ring, hose wasn't too short/long and the downside was the clutter on the chest d-ring (inflator+spg+backup light) I hadn't noticed it was in the DIR section, like Capt Jim Wyatt; I looked at the new posted threads.
