yet only ONE person feels that they were taught in his OW class. They might not argue against it outright, but it doesn't appear to be happening with any appreciable frequency. Talk about semantics.
But see, no one is saying you are wrong when you say PDCs should be taught in class and that seems to be what you think people are doing. So let's start an initiative with the agencies to include PDC training in the OW classes. That would be a productive thing. However, I will be the first to say if I had been required to buy a computer for my OW class on top of the other gear and the cost of the class, I wouldn't have been able to take the class, so I'm not sure how that promotes Scuba to more people if it becomes cost prohibitive. If the school can provide a computer for the student's use, then great.
But you still can't exclude teaching tables...this is the only thing people are disagreeing with you on. They are not disagreeing that PDCs should be taught. So promote the concept in a positive way so things will begin to change.
