Then you were off gassing the leading compartment, just very inefficiently. You could have still been on gassing a slower compartment

Well it's not like I have any control of that on a dive. Nice to be able to review the dive log though.

I don't begin to even watch GF99 until I'm ascending past 30'/10m. During the deep portions, I only keep an eye on SurGF. What's happening to my on-gassing is almost irrelevant, except in how it affects SurGF.
I think we may be going in circles, a little. In his pictured dive, @Blackcrusader 's GF99 was negligible below 12m, as we'd expect. I'm sorry if I directed attention to it earlier in the dive than ascent.
I've seen my GF99 stay at 1% even when in deco on dives.
This must have been true only at the 10m+ deco stops on a long dive. It should certainly be higher than that by 3m. Much higher.

It's fine. I like to have the discourse.. You are a diving medical professional. I doubt anyone seens any issues with my dive logs. GF99 is really not the issue. As you said you monitor your SurgGF so that if you wanted to know that a direct ascent to the surface is safe to do so. Not like I am going to change my diving depth just because I am on gassing lol That's to be expected.
