+1 for me... So far I am sans dive buddy though. I was considering bringing my 16 ft rib. My main concern is trying to pull up to the beach (to join the fun and posibly shuttle a couple people out with me) and all of the shore divers. Seems like a recipe for me running some unlucky flagless diver over? Or maybe it wont be as crowded as i am thinking?

What was decided about doing burgers and dogs? I signed up for buns but if we are going to go the chicken route then I will bring something else.

No one has volunteered a gas grill. Not everyone likes/eats chicken. Suggestions are still able to be made...

I am sure we will come up with a grill before the weekend... I have one but it is in need of some debugging. I think the element or something needs to be replaced. Last resort i can get off my lazy butt and look into it.

1.}Hey Jamie. Just a thought. You might want to make it clear that people need to BRING THEIR OWN dive flags. I know you mentioned in your post that everyone must use them but anyone that has been diving with you may assume you will have them on the boat. You may want to make sure to tell people you will be traveling light that day. Just my two cents. Thanks again for doing this.

I agree. I will have my dive flag and will buddy up with anyone who needs one. I will also have "save a day" stuff in case straps break or o rings are are worn - on the beach/car.

If during a dive my buddy already has a flag I will lend my flag to anyone the needs it.

Ok Jamie beach pickup sounds great and we have our own flags as you know.

I'm thinking boxes/buckets of chicken, like from Publix, is going to be the way to go for the main meal, along with the chili, and whatever peeps would like to go with it. :ne_nau: We've done chicken on the last couple gatherings and it worked great. Much less clean-up and mess.

Also, I will bring the big ScubaBoard Banner so's we are easy to find :biggrin:

Truck - if you put the chili in a crockpot, it will stay a good temp all day. If you don't have one, I can bring mine. Also, should I buy some lil bowls?
