Also, I will bring the big ScubaBoard Banner so's we are easy to find

We would be bringing our one year old daughter and if we get there early I doubt she will make it the whole day until clean up time. Being that this would be the frst year attending I hadn't given any thought to the clean up. We may just wait another year until she's older.
Don't do that! There are enough of us who don't have smaller ones, and don't mind making sure everything is done at the end... Really, do not even consider that an issue!

I agree with Jim dont worry about it. come down have fun and leave when you have to. We more or less clean as we go any way and people clean there own area before they leave anyway.

Don't miss out on this event, because it is a truely great get together.

My previous post really wasn't put out there
to cause ANYONE not to come.
It was just a reminder thing so that people understand
that this is a free, non paid event.

Things just go alot smoother when a larger group
of people attack whatever tasks are at hand.
It is understood, that some people have legitimate issues
that prevent them from arriving early and/or staying late.

So that being said, please don't avoid the event
based on my previous posting.

It wasn't aimed at anyone.
If it seemed blunt,I'm sorry.

Why wait? I've been bringing my boys to events since my eldest was.. well, a year old. I've got a 1,3 and 5 year old who will no doubt keep her entertained and tucker her out! The kids just have a 'day at the beach!' :)

We clean as we go at this event, otherwise the Seagulls make their appearence and we get pooped on!

We will bring 3 boxes of chicken from publix.

Colin is Jamie still going to bring his boat ?? if so do we
A: Do we know what time he will show up ?
B: How will the drop off and pickup go ? Or will we be getting dropped off and swiming in ?

We can deal with it either way but I'm not sure everyone can make that swim in. It would be nice if we had a kayak or dingy to act has a base for dropoffs and pickups or some other permanent marker for divers and Jamie to find. Just thinking out loud here.

Sorry if this has been already posted and we will gladly help pay for gas.

Jamie is working on the details, Im sure he will post them soon.

I will be bringing my kayak. I dont mind using it for that purpose & if this were at a different time I would even sit out there & keep a running list of who comes in & goes out. My problem is that I will have 2 out of town, non-diving friends visiting &, although I'm hoping to get at least 1 dive in, I would feel guilty sitting out there the whole time while they are on the beach. I will also have to leave the minute it starts to look as if thunderstorms are building as I have a dog who will trash my house. I suppose, depending on how far out it would need to be, I could just anchor it & then swim back out & get it when I have to go. Anyone else have any ideas?
