I also make it a point to flush fresh water through every dump valve to make sure sand, grit & salt doesn't build up in them.

If you rotate your Zena so that the opened inflator hose is the low point, all the water will drain out.

Almost correct. The point where the hose attaches to the bladder must also be the lowest point of the bladder. That point on the Zena is just below the uppermost point of the bladder, so simply turning it upside down won't work. It must be upside down, but also tilted slightly back and left side down. The exact opposite of how you dump air.
